Essential Feature of the Program Agreement 

UNVEST will provide to Participant which the Participant accepts and declares that in accordance with Turkish Civil Code will join “Academic English Program for Researchers 2021” which will be held on online. The scope of the Academic English Program for Researchers 2021 includes training for writing research articles, citation, organizing speech, teaching effectively in English, using today’s widely used education technologies, enhancing the abilities to give presentations in English. 

The Contract Program’s Cost and Payment 

The Academic English Program for Researchers which will last 3 weeks costs 4.400,00 TL (Turkish Liras) per person total price including all taxes.  

The Right of Withdrawal 

Participant has the right of withdrawal from the Agreement in 14 (fourteen) days without showing any reasons or paying penalty. As the Agreement is about performing a service, the participant’s right of withdrawal period commences on the day which the Agreement is established. 

The contract is established by the Participant’s pre-registration by clicking on the “Apply” option on the website and completing the form on the page and later when the Participant receives written notification that the application is accepted as a result of the file evaluation made by the program team, the payment link is sent from the system and the process is finalized following the payment of the fee. Participant’s withdrawal period starts on the date of payment. The Participant agrees that he/she may receive only 50% (fifty percent) of the program fee as refund, when the cancellation request is made 15 (fifteen) days before the start of the program that he/she applied to for reasons other than force majeure. In addition, once the program has started, no refunds will be made in case of leaving the program early due to a reason other than force majeure. 

The Exercise of Right of Withdrawal 

• Participant will exercise the right of withdrawal to UNVEST in writing within 14 (fourteen) days. The notification of right of withdrawal would be sent by the Participant to the full address which is stated in Article 1 or electronic mail address which is stated in Article 4.1. 

• UNVEST is obliged to return all payments that are collected from Participant within fourteen days from the date of notification of notice of withdrawal. Reimbursement will be made according to payment method used by Participant, without bringing any charges and liabilities in Participant, will be carried at one time. UNVEST cannot be held responsible for commissions and -regardless of the name- any other deductions implemented by the Participant’s relevant bank account.  
• Participant will not use the right of withdrawal, after the fourteenth day of right of withdrawal period. In addition, if the participant(s) joined the program with the consent of the Participant before the right of withdrawal expires, the Participant will not be able to exercise his/her right of withdrawal. 

Conditions in which Right of Withdrawal cannot be Exercised 

After Academic English Program for Researchers 2021 program has started, the Participant will not request any refund if they cancel their participation in the program for any reason other than force majeure or will not request any refund in case of early departure from the program.

Participant cannot use the right of withdrawal, after the fourteenth day of right of withdrawal period.

7. Information/Commitment on Performance and Solution Methods for Complaints 

UNVEST is obliged to perform the service related to the Academic English Program for Researchers program in accordance with the contract. Participant may deliver all suggestions and complaints about the program to UNVEST via the phone number and e-mail address specified in Article 3. UNVEST aims to investigate the complaints and suggestions within the legal limits and aims to resolve the problem that is submitted by the Participant. All rights of the parties arising from the Law and related regulations are reserved. 

8. The Right of Withdrawal

12. Participant will be able to apply to the Consumer Court or Consumer Arbitration Committee for their dispute.
