Interns will be expected to conduct diagnostic interviews, formulate a biopsychosocial understanding of the presenting problem and work on implementing treatment plans. They will spend half their time in inpatient settings and the rest in outpatient clinics as well as consultation and liaison services. They will have exposure to different treatment modalities such as pharmacotherapy, diverse psychotherapy techniques, electroconvulsive therapy, occupational therapy, group, family and other supportive interventions.
