The course deals with the range of corporate governance issues that have so occupied financial circles and stakeholders in the recent past: the monitoring and strategy roles of boards of directors; the role of independent directors; the rights of shareholders; the special role of institutional investors; corporate governance in Türkiye in the light of corporate governance developments in the United States, Europe and elsewhere; governance scandals which have driven demands for change. Emphasis is placed on corporate governance issues in Türkiye. The course on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) considers the broad dimensions of CSR: from labour issues to human rights to environmental concerns, and from corporate philanthropy to corporate governance to ethical business practices such as avoiding misleading advertising and avoiding corrupt business payments. Emphasis is placed on the business case for CSR, especially from the perspective of companies operating in Türkiye, and on strategies for implementing CSR within business operations.

They will be able to connect with their underlying humanity, will work on effective communication strategies and professional behaviors with patients, families, and other members of the team caring for the patient. Interns will be expected to conduct diagnostic interviews, formulate a biopsychosocial understanding of the presenting problem and work on implementing treatment plans. They will spend half their time in inpatient settings and the rest in outpatient clinics as well as consultation and liaison services. They will have exposure to different treatment modalities such as pharmacotherapy, diverse psychotherapy techniques, electroconvulsive therapy, occupational therapy, group, family and other supportive interventions. (4 weeks; compulsory on-call nights and weekends)

Multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. The students will have theoretical and practical training in the emergency departments, outpatient clinics, operating rooms and inpatient sections of the hospital dedicated to Orthopedics, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Rheumatology, Hand Surgery, Spine, Radiology and Algology. The program will include basic science topics related to clinical medicine; lectures, seminars, panels, clinical presentations, examination of laboratory tests, evaluation of pathologic findings and diagnostic imaging studies and related topics. The topics will cover musculoskeletal traumas, degenerative and metabolic diseases, developmental abnormalities of musculoskeletal system, sports medicine, infectious diseases of bone and joints, tumors of bones, cartilage and soft tissues, rheumatologic diseases, and pain management in musculoskeletal system.
