Understanding the fundamental therapy principles of surgery and acquiring basic surgical skills. Supervised primary responsibility in areas of communication (history taking, informed consent, communication of results with patients/relatives and colleagues, recommendations on further therapy), diagnosis, therapy and documentation. The interns will be responsible from the following tasks: Examination of the patients, daily rounds, taking part in the operations, blood collection, blood (product) transfusion, inserting needles and catheters, wound-dressing, presenting patients during rounds and tumor board meetings, preparing discharge reports. (4 weeks; compulsory on-call nights and weekends)

Multidisciplinary structure and full life cycle of technology based innovation management will cover R&D structures, patent and academic paper search, high tech investment trends, standardization committee realities, intellectual property rights, national strategic requirements and priority areas; government grants structures, technology transfer offices, incubation centers, corporate venture capital environments, regulatory bodies, and different corporate innovation models. Toolkits for strategy development and daily operation will be developed.

This course aims to study the female characters and stereotypes in Turkish literature through the angle of feminist literary criticism. In the beginning, we will discuss concepts such as woman as writer, and woman as reader. We will then move on to an examination of female characters in the major works of Turkish literature to reveal the sexist approaches in these works. Topics discussed during the course will also include the revision of women's literature in the light of the discussions around language and gender.

An introduction to the four language skills listening, speaking, reading and writing in Turkish, and to the Turkish culture in order to develop basic communication in the target language for beginner learners. Enables students to understand basic greetings and routine phrases; to pick out familiar words and phrases in very short simple texts; to join in basic conversations; to be able to talk about daily activities and write simple phrases/sentences. Complies with the first half of level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
