Development of coordination, body control, agility, flexibility, balance, muscle strength, musicality, sense of rhythm and of aesthetics.

UNIV 121 / EFFECTIVE SPEAKING

This class aims to help students use the right organs (i.e. diaphragm) and the right points in order to make an effortless speech which is at the right tone. Exercises to improve speech capability will be conducted in the light of phonetic science that forms basis of many languages. By the end of the semester, students are expected to express themselves more professionally; have a broader vocabulary, make better choices for words and express emotions congruent with words. This course will provide the opportunity to be an effective speaker by intensive experience. Breathing exercises, impromptu and prepared speeches, articulation practices are a few methods to be used throughout the course. The course is offered in Turkish.

Continued applied training in intermediate ballet technique. Studio practice of ballet exercises on the floor, at the barre and in the center, accompanied by classical music. Warm-up, stretching, elevations, turns and jumps. Practice of extended movement combinations. Development of physical stamina, agility, flexibility, balance, and musicality.

The main objective of this course is to improve the ability to approach a specific goal, to set a goal, and to develop the ability to struggle to achieve the goal in the field of Chess. To gain logical, imaginary , critical thinking skills and decision-making skills. To endure the results of a given decision. to make decisions on their own and to give them the responsibility to implement this decision. To be able to predict the outcome of decisions, and to gain ability to predict results. To increase intrinsic motivation. improve the best decision making ability. to improve the optimization skills. To learn the concepts of winning and losing. To be able to inquire under which conditions you can be successful, and for what reason you will lose. To develop critical thinking, analyzing and decision making skills. Deeply concentration skills and to be patient are other important skills should be developed. To increase planning ability and analysis ability. To raise the potentials about a possible chess skill.
